Saw V October 29, 2008

In order to prepare for Halloween, some friends and I thought there would not be a better idea than to go and see Saw V. Saw V premiered in theatres last Friday, 10/24. We decided to head over early and get the tickets so we would be guaranteed to see the movie. It started at 9:40pm and we decided to go over at 9pm to get good seats..of course thinking 40 minutes would be plenty of time. We strolled in expecting to get good seats somewhere in the middle towards the back. YEAH RIGHT! When we walked in and it was already packed! There were 5 of us and we did not think we were going to find 5 seats together unless we sat in the very front row practically leaning backwards to see the movie. We were lucky enough to find 5 seats together that weren’t in the front row but pretty close.

I was pretty excited to see the movie because I love the Saw series..I have seen every one in theatres. Saw V was pretty good..it was not as gorey as the others and I think I seem to prefer that more. This movie was more of an explanation of Saw I-IV. As always, the director comes up with more creative and horrifying ways to torture and harm someone. There was rumor that this was the last Saw but I sure hope not!
