Founder’s Day Celebrations!!! October 2, 2008

Founder’s Day was celebrated October 1, 2008 and marked the college’s 61st anniversary. The festivities began with a complimentary breakfast in the morning, followed by a catered picnic from 11am-1pm featuring hotdogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, chips, cookies and brownies as well as beverages. The picnic was celebrated in the Greenspring quad outside of the Student Union. Wild Stang made an appearance posing in pictures and showing his Stevenson Spirit!! President Manning and Jeff Kelly enjoyed the festivities as well! The Wellness Center had a table set up outside of the Student Union and featured “Save Second Base” where they made people aware of breast cancer since October is breast cancer awareness month. Founder’s Day was celebrated all day and it was a fun and enjoyable time! I cannot wait until next year!
